Grace Huang
Art DirectorArt Director by day, singer / thespian / martial artist by night. Grace’s multi-faceted background helps make her an all rounded art-director, drawing inspiration from her adventures.
As an established freelance Web/Graphic Designer & Art Director, Grace Huang, has worked on various projects for individuals & corporations, such as Ogilvy & Mather (Singapore), IBM, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Avis car rental (Singapore), the Ritz Carlton Hotel (Singapore), Nokia, Credit Suisse, The National Library of Singapore, Bluewave Asia Pacific, BNM / Fairtex (Singapore / Thailand), (Singapore), J H Kim Taekwondo, Rebel Fighting Championship, Action for Aids, Yolo (Singapore), T.H.E Dance Company, The Singapore Zoo, PinkApple Events & Buttcheeks Bikinis.

Grace Huang, known lovingly to most as “Boo” (and that’s another story in itself), graduated from the National Institute of Design (Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia) in 2004 with a Bachelor in Design (Multi-Media) & recently graduated from RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) in 2012 with a Master in Communications (Advertising). Her foray into the world of design started when she attained her Diploma in Interactive Media Design at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore where she graduated in the top 10 percentile of her cohort.
In 2001, Grace joined The Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) Young Co. where she trained in theatre & subsequently became the Publicity Manager of the company. There, she managed the end-to-end delivery of all publicity material from design to delivery. As Publicity Manager, Grace also managed press conferences & opening / closing night events where she coordinated the media releases including invitations to other theatre companies & members of the press & media. During that time, Grace also had the privilege of interning at M&C Saatchi (Singapore) while working on publicity material for Dick Lee’s comeback musical, re:MIX. Grace was offered a place at M&C Saatchi upon her graduation.
Not to brag but…
In 2004, Grace won “The Most Promising Young Designer” award from IDN Magazine, Australia. She was also accepted into Fabrica, the acclaimed design institute established by the United Colors of Benetton.

Grace successfully interviewed with Bluewave Asia Pacific and was subsequently offered a place at Bluewave when she graduated with her Diploma. During her time there, she projects for international organizations such as: ABN Amro Bank, Credit Suisse Private Banking, Bintang Beer, Raffles City & Levi’s.
In 2005, Grace continued her down the journey of design by establishing Graphikate Interactive, the interactive arm of Graphikate Designs, where she worked as the Director of the company. There, she worked on projects for Royal China Restaurant (Raffles Hotel Singapore), HighFive, Tapestry, Clap!, Mayor’s Imagine Fund (Central Singapore Community Development Council) & CPG Productions.
In recent years, Grace has also shared her extensive knowledge and experience in both online marketing, online solutions & social media through seminars held in Singapore & Hong Kong.
